Jan. 15, 2011
Thanks so much to my friend Brenda Pannenton for the wonderful house
concert opportunity on January 15th.  The house was sold out and then some.
Brenda tells us that it was a record attendance for her series.
You can see the concert filmed by Richard Pollard in its entirety at You Tube.

Far Out...Joan Baez,Wavy Gravy
& Jim!
Jim had the honor of opening for Joan Baez & Wavy Gravy in Oakland for the
Western Museum Association's annual meeting. Jim was asked to play his song
'Hippies' to open the WMA's program, "Shake It Up" with Wavy Gravy as
keynote speaker. Wavy is known for his activism and as the MC for Woodstock.
The day before the event Jim received the word that Ms. Baez would join the
opening event. She had kind words to say about Jim's new CD and was interested
to hear that the song 'Hippies' included a tribute to Joan Baez and other sixties
icons.
THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR ONGOING SUPPORT!

An attentive audience enjoys Jim's stories
and songs at last Midsummer's Eve concert
at Cosmos.
